The planets


 Mercury

Not visible at the moment, can be spotted very low near the horizon in the east during the second half of the month.

 Venus

Visible for only a very short while just after sunset.

 Mars

Mars is not visible at the moment.

 Jupiter

Jupiter reaches opposition in September (22nd) and is visible during the entire night.

 Saturn

Currently not visible.

 Uranus

Can be found near Jupiter (less than 2° )

 Neptune

Can be found between Capricornus and Aquarius by mid-evening.

 Pluto

Can be found in the northwestern part of Sagittarius, after sunset.
