Object info

M11 contains an estimated 2900 stars and lies at a distance of 6.200 light years. The Wild Duck Cluster is one of the richest and most compact of the known open clusters. Its age is estimated to be about 220 million years.

Comments

Not a particularly good image. There are problems with the camera not being parallel to the focus plane (bloated stars right side) and issues with the focuser.
