Additional notes and remarks:

Object info

Second light of the new SBIG ST-8300M Monochrome CCD camera.

Image was taken through the clouds at not very favourable conditions (humidity & fog), there was no moon present however.

First light did not turn out very well, so I was eager to get out again and give it another try under somewhat better circumstances.

Processing

The single images were calibrated using 25 flats (median combined), 3 darks (averaged) and 7 bias frames.
Image reduction in CCDSoft, aligning and stacking in ImagesPlus, DBE in PixInsight (to get rid off the light pollution gradient) and further processing in Photoshop CS2.
