Sharpless-171 (Sh2-171), also referred to as Cederblad 214 is a relatively faint emission nebula located in the constellation Cepheus.
The distance is about 2.700 light years.
The dark nebula at the top of the image is known as NGC7822 and the young cluster of stars is named Berkeley 59.
