Sharpless 2-264 (Sh2-264) is a very large emission nebula (including the open cluster Collinder 69 (CR 69) in Orion.
Sometimes called the Lambda Orionis Nebula, it spans an enormous 8° of sky in northern Orion and has a very low surface brightness.
This image actually only shows the northern part of the nebula.
